Delete Your Account

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your Kantu account. Use the subject “Delete my Kantu account” and include the email address you used with Apple or Google sign-in. We may ask for limited information needed to verify ownership before deleting the account.

Request account deletion

Delete inside Kantu

Open Kantu and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open the Account screen.
Choose Delete account.
Read the confirmation and choose Delete permanently.

The in-app process sends an authenticated deletion request and removes the account after confirmation.

What will be deleted

Your Firebase Authentication account and Kantu profile.
Private cloud collections, compressed pictures, thumbnails, and saved analyses.
Usage history and the server-side subscription-entitlement mirror.
Synchronized learning progress and limited product-event counts associated with the account.
Saved words, cached usage, learning progress, and Kantu preferences cleared by the app from the device where in-app deletion is completed.

Timing and limited retention

Authenticated in-app deletion is designed to complete immediately. Email requests are acknowledged and processed as soon as reasonably possible, generally within 30 days after account ownership is verified.

Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, transaction disputes, or legal compliance. Data held in routine backups may remain until those backups are overwritten under the service provider’s normal retention schedule.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your Kantu account does not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in your Apple or Google account to prevent future renewal charges.
